Main Street Inn

After a relatively short ride today from Muskogen to Lowell, we have arrived at the quaint little Main Street Inn. It is right on the river on the small Main Street.

Lowell was founded in 1831 as a trading post. It’s the home of a retired showboat called the Majestic.

The Inn is right on the river, we have our own balcony and a beautiful room overlooking the Grand River. We’ll probably later have our very own collection of midges, mosquitos and large bites too, but I’ve a spray for that!

Mr Fogg is having a well earned snooze, having managed to find at least one large Harley store today and buy more Harley stuff (let’s not mention I also bought yet another t-shirt). So I’m relaxing on the balcony watching the river gently flow. Bliss.

Later we plan to go find the BBQ place, ribs are sounding good to me!
