And as the Florida holiday draws to an end we look so happy at leaving 90+ degrees of heat, constant sunshine, long days, eating round the clock and really enjoying ourselves. Oh no wait, we don’t want to leave, boo hoo!
As with every trip since I met Mrs Fogg, it has been amazing sharing experiences with such a fantastic and wonderful woman (soppy I know, but you just know when you have found the perfect partner, friend, wife and love).
Cold, horrible and damp England here we come.
And here is a proud Mrs Foggy with her target from the Shooting Gallery and as you can see after 25 rounds she managed to hit the paper at the top at least.
So today we decided to have a go on a shooting range with Dirty Harrys weapon of choice, a 357 Magnum. Hoo Yaa
Well another day in paradise and a whopping 95 degrees. A simple day for us trying to avoid burning severely in this high heat. Caught two movies Land of the Lost (absolute pap) and the Hangover which was absolutely brilliant.
And here we have Mr Fogg, generally found near or around alcohol, considered harmless unless tipsey on Sangria laced with Vodka. In it’s current habitat “the Mr Fogg” can be seen giggling madly whilst slurring at the locals with a mock American accent that sounds more like some strangled cat.
So last night Mrs Foggy and I went to O.C White for a wonderful meal with Mr Attentive the waiter (see the previous blog). The toss up was there or Santa Maria on the Marina, so today we went to Santa Maria for lunch and my gosh did it suck.
Hmm, sunny St Augustine, or it was at about 4pm until the heavens opened and now there is an almighty thunderstorm, torrential rain, black skies, oh and a brace of ducks waddling across the car park. So, the plan was to put on the glad rags and go back into the centre of St Augustine for dinner at a beautiful outside restaurant. New plan- dinner inside watching said thunderstorm. If you look carefully at the pic you can see the ducks.
So here is the view from the Holiday Inn on St Augustine Beach and we hope to watch the sun rise tomorrow morning. So whilst you lucky people will have already been up and working for a good hour or so, we will have just woken and will be sat on the east coast of Florida huddled together shivering and watching the first rays of sunlight hitting the US of A
So we got up nice and early this am, well 9ish, and headed up the I-4 to St Augustine.
