Welcome to Port Renfrew

A wonderful drive out today from Victoria to cover the 92 kilometres to Port Renfrew on the twisty and bumpy BC-14. It’s a hell of a road through a tree covered area with ups, downs, sweeping bends and tight corners. Stopping at Sooke we found a small Sushi restaurant and stocked up on food.

Arriving at Port Renfrew for our restful couple of days beside the Pacific Ocean in a sheltered bay. Complete with pub on the doorstep and our own deck, awesome view and fire pit.

Tomorrow a chance to just chill

A nice early start, out to the gym and then hitting the road to Port Renfrew via Langford and a Harley Store for T-Shirts in Langford and a little known place called Sooke.

Next stop Shirley and then onto Port Renfrew.

Victoria’s Secret

Bonjour from Victoria, a small semi busy city, with lots of noise, lots of smells and lots of “wackybacky!”. We got 2 days here to explore and I think we done most of it already.

Mrs Fogg as ever did her usual sterling research to find some fine dining, raw oysters at a small bar and then a small but friendly Chinese restaurant for a taste of Yunan, buried deep in the heart of China Town (well it’s actually just one street).

Today more walking miles around and more food past the plethora of Irish bars.

Greetings from Tsawwassen

A relatively smooth flight from Gatport Airwick to Vancouver and unsurprisingly a clean and tidy airport without graffiti, broken toilets or rubbish on the floors.

On then to our first stop just 24km from the airport at the Tsawwassen Inn, which was a breeze in the uber growly Nissan Murano. Off to the gym and then for food.

We stayed HERE

Let’s Hope Canada’s Dry

Here we go, Vancouver Road Trip with bears, Grrrr.

Last night sat in the Hilton at a Japanese Steak House where the service was sooooooooo slow they ended up comping the second bottle of sake and service charge and some of the food. It only took 3 hours for the food to arrive.

Great Balls of Fire

Our lovely little solar water fountain has been buried in flowers and bees all summer, so a little Garden DIY sees the solar ball elevated and looking pretty cool day and night.

A Rudding Good Birthday

So for Mrs Foggs Birthday I arranged a surprise of a weekend at Rudding Park, complete with a suite, sauna access all weekend, gym, 9 course tasting menu, massage, swimming pool and the ultimate 4 metre wide, Dolby Atmos, 14 seat cinema all to ourselves so she could watch her fave movie Highlander on the big screen (having never seen it at the cineama).

It was AWESOME

Boats, Food, Buildings

A really relaxing few days (even with Mrs Fogg making us walk over 100,000 steps), of awesome sights and amazing food on the river cruise for 3 hours and then last night at Mlynec in central Prague, with a 5 course menu and wine tasting, finished off with dry ice deserts
