So, in two days time I’ll be two years away from the big 40. How time flies. I’ve done so many crazy things over the years that I feel really lucky to have had the chance. Most memorable so far include: Meeting Mr Fogg, taking flying lessons in a Fixed wing aircraft, helicopter and glider, having a go at paragliding. Playing passenger in an Evo 8 going around a race track, retiring from work aged 34, travelling to some amazing locations- Hong Kong, Japan, 14 US states, Europe, living in an idylic location in Wales, learning the Greek language and lots lots more- some of which I’ll not put into print (but boy were they fun).
So, another year older, must plan for next year’s fun. High on the list is doing something more insane than I have achieved so far. Suggestions on a postcard please- apart from bungee jumping.
Is it just me or does time really speed up, is Mr Foggs hair disappearing at the same rate that mine is going grey and are all people just truly annoying in the Supermarket, high street etc?
Glass of wine beckons. It’s good for you don’t you know?

The Strawbelly Monster
Beware of the Strawbelly Monster mainly seen at summer fete’s snacking on the ripe strawbs with tonnes of cream on them.
If you see this creature, hide your strawbs at all costs, she will have them.
Managed to persuade Mr Fogg to try another village fête this afternoon. So glad I did. Here we are in Helperby in a very well organised fête. Lots of stalls, pubs open, open gardens and a very special pimms bar at the village hall. We were so impressed we just had to stay for a while. All told a lovely day. We are told the accronym for the bar means “domestically inept menopausal males” how fitting
This one really really sucks!
So it is a nice Sunday sat here with the Caddy’s enjoying tonnes of dead animal on the monster BBQ.
Hoo Har have we now got a monster BBQ to play with. We’ve gone posh with an American styled gas guzzler already sizzling with the smell of sausages, lamb chops and burgers. Ah the ease of being able to flick a switch and no charcoal smoke in yer eyes. Gonna have to plan a few BBQ parties now to get some cooking practice
This is a reminder to Mrs Fogg and me, here we are at 4.29pm on Sat 13 June in Orlando International Airport at Gate 81, awaiting our flight back to Manchester.
And as the Florida holiday draws to an end we look so happy at leaving 90+ degrees of heat, constant sunshine, long days, eating round the clock and really enjoying ourselves. Oh no wait, we don’t want to leave, boo hoo!
And here is a proud Mrs Foggy with her target from the Shooting Gallery and as you can see after 25 rounds she managed to hit the paper at the top at least.
