Oh yes Santorini here we comes. Me and the Mrs will be jetting off very shortly on a short. Luggage packed, check, moved house (again), check, been to Ireland, check. Then we is all set.

Mrs Foggy has found a beautiful hotel in Oia (pronounced Eeaa), the Marrizan studio which is a hotel built into the rock (well here’s hoping it’s nice anyhoo). Don’t really matter cos there will be too young lovers (yes young still covers me) enjoying, sun, sea, relaxation and each other.

Well hello all.

We are now moved, still lots of unpacking to do, but we are in and yesterday we met the neighbours, real quiet lot really, not many late night (g)raves.

This is a very quiet area, dead quiet at times. We have Lorna’s favourite owls, the Teet and lots of deer as well.

Give us a few weeks and we will be completely sorted (kitchen, utility and living living room) and ready to have some good friends over.

And there you have it, 2 years to the day since Mrs Fogg and I moved into the little ole chestnut, we are leaving this quiet village.

As we always do, lets do the roll of honour, since leaving idyllic Tyddyn, we have:

– Once to St.Lucia
– The Folks Tour of the US
– 2 Christmas’
– Some dirty weekends Away
– Mrs Fogg started Yoga (love them moves, whoo yaa)
– Probably in excess of 30 bottles of the fizzy
– Another new bed (we broke the old one, hee hee)
– Visits from some good friends
– Mr Fogg managed 3 jobs, one for over a year
– 1 sexy scooter called sasha
– 1 hogg wannabe called Zed
– Oodles of currys
– Plenty of fun

So me ole Chestnut, tonight we bid you tatty bye and wish ya well.

Onwards and ever upwards, next stop the light to find your way, who knows it may yet guide us to something yet to be sought?

Well the weekend is over, and Mrs Fogg and I have had a really nice relaxing break visiting the folks in Ireland. Any visit to Ireland would not be complete without a few Guinness and copious amounts of booze.

The inlaws took us to visit a little placed called Cong, which Mrs Foggy was all excited about because apparently John Wayne filmed the Quiet Man there in 1951.

It has been a fantastic break, lots of rest before the hectic week that is the house move, begins.

Well Mrs Foggy and me decided to take a short break over to see the folks in oirland. It has been a long few weeks and the next couple will be even more hectic, moving house, lots of work and then a wonderful break in Santorini.

So in traditional style here is Mrs Foggy with her fave tipple a nice chilled glass of poo, getting the liver ready for a bashing at the foggies house.

Well a wonderful summers eve on August and it looks like one of the last ones here at ole Chestnut Cottage. Fingers crossed we will be moving more rural (well providing the estate agents and lanlords can sort their acts out.

So me and Mrs Foggy do what only we can do, have a BBQ and get hammered. As you can see Mrs Foggy will actually lick out the inside of a champagne bottle if there is the slightest residue of alcohol in existance there.

So hats off to 2 years at Chestnut and potentially even more at Beacon.

Yup another sat night and a bottle of Poo and Vino, woo hoo. Mrs Fogg worked until 11pm last night and 6 hours today, boo hoo. So we had a glass or so of our fave tipple tonight with home cooked steak.

Tomorrow hopefully a day off, who knows? Still got a visit to see the folks and a wee trip to santorini soon so a chance to chill hopefully.

Me so tired now, bed methinks.

Raise a glass to Mrs Foggy, the hottest, sexiest and most beautiful woman I have ever had the pleasure to know.

In celebration I have brought Mrs Fogg to Whinstone View in a luxury lodge where we stayed last year. Jacuzzi and champagne beckon.

So, in two days time I’ll be two years away from the big 40. How time flies. I’ve done so many crazy things over the years that I feel really lucky to have had the chance. Most memorable so far include: Meeting Mr Fogg, taking flying lessons in a Fixed wing aircraft, helicopter and glider, having a go at paragliding. Playing passenger in an Evo 8 going around a race track, retiring from work aged 34, travelling to some amazing locations- Hong Kong, Japan, 14 US states, Europe, living in an idylic location in Wales, learning the Greek language and lots lots more- some of which I’ll not put into print (but boy were they fun).

So, another year older, must plan for next year’s fun. High on the list is doing something more insane than I have achieved so far. Suggestions on a postcard please- apart from bungee jumping.

Is it just me or does time really speed up, is Mr Foggs hair disappearing at the same rate that mine is going grey and are all people just truly annoying in the Supermarket, high street etc?
