Well the last trek from Glen Nevis over to Balmaha for the final night in Mabel the Moho on the edge of another Loch. And today we dropped Mabel back home before heading onto Sanquhar for a night of luxury before home tomorrow.

All told a wonderful journey around Scotland and now the tally:

• 919 miles total, £211.52 in diesel
• 500 miles on the NC500
• Stopped at 12 campsites
• 1 lost wheel and axle from the “pooper cassette” in the chemical waste
• 12kg of calor gas on cooking
• Most northerly point Duncansby Head
• 4th, 5th and 6th gear used twice for about a mile
• Sunshine, once when we picked the camper up and second time when we dropped it off
