Ferriby

We had a socially distant visit from the Folks and popped out for a drive to North Ferriby to look at plants after a recommendation for a local nursery.

Turns out North Ferriby is very old and picturesque. It’s on the banks of the Humber estuary with a cracking view of the Humber Bridge.

It is also noted apparently for being a Bronze Age port or landing site for some very unique boats covered in hide. Apparently the only other place with this design of boat is Egypt. Pretty cool eh?

There is some form of monument to them but we’ve not found that yet. Next time perhaps
