So here we are in phase 2 of our kitchen refit. First fit out electrics complete, we are now on a week of plastering, brickwork, replacement bits and bats, so our make shift camp table is collapsed and we are into the fallback kitchen in the utility room.

What strikes me, looking back when I was just starting out and living in my digs, is that this kitchen space is sheer luxury, since my kitchen space was half this size.
