This is just part of the sprawling Christmas market in Brussels, taken from atop the 180ft Christmas Eye. we seem to have sampled quite a bit of Glugg Wine or Vin Chaud as those Frenchies call it, seen a gaggle of Father Christmas’, eaten mussels and Lobster (oh yum), been up the wheel twice and had a fab time, still with 2 days to go.

We went to Prague on Boxing Day in 2002/2003 but that was blooming cold and the Christmas markets were not as large as this. There is something quite charming about Brussels that makes you want to come back and enjoy it some more.

Now we are off to see a live snow globe in the Grande Place.
