Namaste

image1985847420.jpgThis weekend saw my second visit to a Yoga retreat in deepest Wales. Meeting up with my Yoga teacher and fellow classmates it was great to zone out, stretch out and meditate in beautiful surroundings. The food was amazing, who knew you could make vegetables taste so good on their own, although vegetarian chilli on the first night was maybe a dodgy choice when it came to practice the next morning (who made that noise at the back of class??).

I came back on a high, all peaceful and resolved to returning to regular yoga practice to keep my limbs supple and my mind energised. Mind you, I still cannot touch my toes!! Yet!!

Where Does Yer Haggis Live

image1902933026.jpgIt’s tradition time and time to celebrate Robert Burns at the Foggy household.

Moaning and a groaning, Mrs Fogg addressed the haggis in traditional style (well apart from the Poke Me t-shirt of course), I even got the video to prove it.

So perfectly addressed we then devoured tha wee beastie.

Yum

Yummy

image405535840.jpgWell after 2 weeks we can definitely see that Mrs Fogg is getting back to full health as she devours a chocolate eclair.

All set the eclair lasted all of 33 seconds, yumm yumm.

Mail Order Cat anyone?

image1404493708.jpgAnyone want a cat in a box? So, I opened my family research box to have a read through the data collected so far and 30 seconds later he took up residence squeezing into this small space.

Cats, I love their personalities

Contagion

image1605780012.jpgLike Victor Meldrew, I don’t believe it!! Mr Fogg and I had flu before Christmas but struggled on with work and we managed to recover over Christmas.

So, two weeks after Christmas (how time flies) I started with a slight itch on my back when I returned to work on Wednesday. By Friday I had a teeny teeny rash that looked more like a mosquito had lunched on me! By Sunday night I felt shattered and the itch was still there.

A trip to the doctors this morning revealed I have Shingles. Great, thanks for that.

I can now look forward to the next few weeks of rashes, pain and feeling shattered, still, the parting comment from my doctor was a classic as she prescribed a stack of tablets “Just think, 2011 can only get better now!” What a comedian.

I is officially contaminated until further notice….

2 Weeks and a Thousand Bits

image662002570.jpgSo for one of Mrs Foggys prezzies at Christmas I sent a photo of us at the Stratosphere in Vegas from October.

She has diligently been working on this for 2 weeks, getting all 1000 pieces in place and now she has done it.

So now I gotta find something else to keep her occupied, ideas on a postcard to………

Winter Blues Not for Long

image345963742.jpgSo tis the wintery dull month that is Jan, consider that it was Christmas Day only 2 weeks ago.

Well things to look forward to are, 57 days until we go to Singapore, 178 days until the Mrs is dare I say it 21 for the 19th time and only 350 days until Santa arrives.

So not that dull and horrible is it?

Hippo Bath Day to Me

image100506015.jpgSo in a few hours it will be my *^% Bath Day (think I am gonna say how old I is?). Put it this way mentally I will achieve puberty soon.

So Mrs Foggy has a big box sat on the landing for my prezzie, with what can only be described as the worlds bestist wrapping paper.

Hippo Bath Day to Me.

Christmas Over I’m Bushed

image630366333.jpgSo it’s now the 2nd Jan and I’m bushed, got woken at 5am by Mr Fogg to open his prezzies, then had to stay awake until 2.30am on New Years Day whilst everyone got tiddly.

Me so tired now I gotta rest, thank goodness there is still 356 days, 4 hours and 30 minutes until we start it all again.

Night meow.
