Hot Hot Hot

image761634289.jpgWell here we are in the land of HOT, after a delay of an hour for take off(probably drunk pilot trying to sober up) we took off on an un-eventful flight, less than average food and less than average service, although we still managed 2 glasses of champagne each, 4 glasses of wine and 2 baileys. After 8 hours 30 mins we landed in Orlando, breezed through customs (they had no interest in the silly over paranoid ESTA document you now have to complete). Picked up the car, a Chrysler Seabring and headed for the house.

The house is lovely with a 30 ft swimming pool and oodles of room in it. Last night was off to Walmart and a basic shop then up to Applebees for evening meal oh yummy, we went there a lot when we travelled the US, good food and 2 for 1 happy hour on margarita. We stayed up until 10pm then collapsed in a huge American bed (could fit a family of 12 in it).

Today a gentle womble around, grab some snacks and finish off the day at Red Lobster for lobster tails and steak (yep the theme here is food and drink, but we feel poitively skinny next to our 20st cousins). We might even have a Round of drunken crazy golf. The rest of the week will be Medieval Times, Cape Canaveral, Busch Gardens, Cirque de Soleil, Downtown Disney for food and a night time boogie, Universal Studios, a drive to St Augustine and soooo much more.

So now food beckons, well we have been up for 30 minutes and not eaten yet.

We Blogged from here.
