Ubud

Last Day in Paradise

A wonderful break in Singapore and then a fantastic week just chilling at the Viceroy Bali

Last night we had our final meal at the Aperitif restaurant (7 course tasting menu with Wagyu steak, Duck and accompanying wine).

A gentle stroll back to our villa

To be greeted by a romantically prepared bath in the room

And today we head off to the airport (2.5 hours away), then fly to Singapore (2.5 hours) and then onto the UK (14 hours).

This place is amazing, friendly staff, wonderful food, fully equipped gym and amazing views

And the final bill, yes that is right 40million!!!!

The Viceroy

A 2 hour drive through the worlds craziest drivers is one of the most idyllic, serene and beautiful hotels we have had the pleasure to stay in, the Viceroy Ubud.

We managed 3 days here last year in room 26 and this time we are next door in room 25

This is awesome

7 days of relaxation with a beautiful and amazing woman.

Bali Again – Cinco de Mayo

Yes it’s Cinco de Mayo and we made it through the uber efficient Singapore Changi airport with its electronic passport, checkin, baggage, security and cleanliness (take note UK airports, this is what an airport should be like). Onto our SCOOT airline flight (think Jet2 but better)

To arrive in Bali complete with our luggage (even my three wheel case made it)

Thanks to flying with Singapore Airlines and not with Emirates through Dubai.

And now the journey to the Viceroy in Ubud where the drivers are maniacs (but polite).

So to Emirates we’d like to thank you for wasting our time, holiday and money last year, stranding us in Dubai without luggage, hotel, transport, assistance, compensation or interest in customer care. This one’s just for you
