Talking in a group today, we were informed that in India a pigeon had been captured with a possible spying device attached to it. The conversation continued that the bird was being x-rayed to check if it had any other bugging devices. Well what could it be for asked some? Monitoring what and why?

Enter the smart-ass with the one liners “you know what it is, don’t you? Must be part of one of them military coo’s”. Drum roll please! Here all week, thank you.

Sure looks like plant food to me.

Bought a Venus fly trap and this bad boy is eating anything it can get a hold of. To be fair I did have to stun the first couple of flies with the electric bat and drop them in, but now we really do have our very own Audrey Too!

Only a brief cycle away……..

So we aimed to go to Allerthorpe Lakeside Park for a bite to eat. Then we got carried away.

After Scampi and Chips, chocolate cake and tea we felt the need for wine. Cue our mammoth cycle.

Twenty five miles later, we have sore asses, wobbly legs, Mr Fogg is a Soprano and we have a much deserved bottle of wine.

Plus we managed to weed the garden and cut the hedge.

That’s 36 miles since buying our shiny new toys on Saturday.

It’s easier than jogging that’s for sure. Off back to work for a rest now.

One full breakfast
10 mile bike ride back
One pub stop for refreshments

One tired Mr Fogg. Seems to have lost all his energy and wasted away!

I thought I’d better help him get off the cycle.

11 miles walked in 3.5 hours, a pit stop to refuel and then pick up the bikes for the long ride back.
