We have found some amazing bodge ups in this house, no continuous Earth, an unconfigured and expensive heating system and a leaking garage roof to name but a few items. So it comes as no surprise that the outside tap was leaking and as we tried to replace it, the entire pipe work that connects to the sink and dishwasher, had no fixing from outside and was just a bit of soldered copper. Upshot as we tried to replace the tap all of the pipe work came loose causing the fixings to leak.

Try getting hold of a plumber in lockdown, 2 no answers, 1 if it’s an emergency I can come in 3 days time. Enter super plumber who arrived and replaced all of the pipe work and secured it to the outside wall for a paltry £60

This weekend I planned to revamp a dark corner of the garden and lay a fairy ring and plant up. It’s taken some effort but proud to say I did it all myself, including lugging the patio stones.

Mr Fogg painted miles of fence while I did this so our garden is looking super at the moment.

We finally got time to finish chopping the logs up from the trees we had cut down last year. Me with the chainsaw, Mrs Fogg swinging a bloody great axe.
