We now almost have a finished patio and the stairs have now gone in preparation of their replacement. The downside, they have taken the old steps away and not started the new ones just at the point the heavens are gonna open.

Get ready for the new waterfall and swimming pool!
Ahh boo. Last day and sat at the airport. We were heading to the airport lounge but the bloomin thing is “temporarily closed” so we had to buy a drink. Just look at that T-Shirt!!!!

We spent the last night HERE
So this is us in Boulder City, 30 miles from the airport for the return tomorrow (boo) and the flight is already showing as delayed. We’ve done a full circuit round Arizona, touching Nevada, New Mexico and California, awesome.

So now a womble round Boulder and time for grub

Chilling around HERE
Temperatures here are a chill 33 during the day and 7, yes you read it right 7 degrees on a night time.
We love this little town, beautiful, quiet and with a wonderful vibe to it. Such a cool place.

Not too sure of the services this motel offers tho.

And if all caravans looked like the American Airstreams, I would definitely buy one.

Oh look, Mrs Fogg’s got a bear behind (childish but fun)

Standing on the Corner in Winslow Arizona, right HERE
A long old drive today from Sedona up 6,500ft across to Winslow for us Route66 addicts and then across to Williams, via 2 Harley stores for more T-shirts

And one of the many T-Shirts (sad or what)

And now a couple nights in Williams to chillax before we have to think about heading home.
And these were from 2017 when we had young Kevin in tow (wish you were HERE eh Kev?)

And guess what young Kev, the worlds best guitarist and singist is still at the Best Western and he remembers you! (He asked Mrs Fogg where her daughter was😄)

and for tea tonight, let’s try the 16oz Porterhouse steak each, oh yes!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

So finally a kick back and chill round the fire pit

As a foot note, I have a fascination with toilets around the world, after We were bought a book many years ago about weird and wacky ones from around the world, so I am always on the lookout for the strange and unusual, which is why this one in Winslow made me smile. Some gents urinals have an “aim here” target painted into them (usually a fly), which is positioned to limit the amount of splash back encountered, so I quite like the inventive approach by this little place, just aim for the ball!

Chilling and watching the stars HERE
A relaxing chill out at Casa Sedona Inn, nothing to do but sit in a 40 degree jacuzzi in 33 degree heat, go for food at a very expensive Italian restaurant where the waiter hovers and grabs your plate the second you put a fork down, then come back and watch the stars.

Next stop is Williams AZ and a lovely little Best Western with jacuzzi and outdoor fire pit (remember that young Kevin).
Yep we joined the Mile High HERE
Welcome to Jerome 5,280 feet above sea level or a Mile High. The road and scenery from Prescott to Sedona on the 89A is simply fantastic with 15 mph roads, no barriers and 1,000ft drops, it is spectacular and Jerome AZ is beautiful. It’s an old mining town (yes another one) perched precariously on a hillside and slowly sliding down by the looks of it.
The road to get here is the historic US 89 A ( A stands for Alternative). It’s a very old road with 180 degree switchbacks all the way and super cool it is too

So Jerome. What a super place. All locally owned and specialist shops, cool vibe and just very different

Next stop Sedona
Stopping for the night HERE
We arrived at the Motor Lodge which is yet another awesome little place, with 1950s decor and a welcome complimentary beer or wine on arrival. The sound of the cicadas is deafening.
Mrs Fogg finds all the funkiest places, what a star!

Next stop Sedona and the Casa Sedona Inn (which looks awesome).
