So it’s now the 2nd Jan and I’m bushed, got woken at 5am by Mr Fogg to open his prezzies, then had to stay awake until 2.30am on New Years Day whilst everyone got tiddly.

Me so tired now I gotta rest, thank goodness there is still 356 days, 4 hours and 30 minutes until we start it all again.

What a fantastic New Years Eve and New Years Day. Five bottles of champagne were used to see in 2011, along with a few games of Scene It the movie game and Jools Hollands Hootenany.

Mrs Fogg did first footing with coal and whiskey an we eventually called it a night at 2.30am.

This morning my head was a wee bit soar but we rose and played a few rounds of Rapido (the Foggies whopped ass there) before a full on meal with roasties, Yorkshire puds and the works.

We finished off the day with the racing reindeer and puddings before Stu and Jen left us with the washing up.

It must be cold because Stu had his winter bonnet on or is this his preparation for panto season?

Yes we saw in the New Year with this bad boy, no not me or Caddie but the bottle (Magnum) of Bollinger.

Whoo Yaaaa roll on this year and it’s only a few hundred days to Christmas 2011.

Here’s to the next decade.

Happy New Year to everyone from the Foggies and the Caddies (ok so we is a wee bit early). This year Stu & Jen have joined us to see in the New Year, play silly games (Scene It, Rapido, guess the alcoholic beverage, etc).

Two bottles of Champers down so far and the bad boy left to go (a Magnum of Bollinger all set to see in the chimes).

Mrs Foggy will be first footing again this year and finished off the evening meal with Haggis Neeps n Tatties with whiskey (oh boy).

So only 2 hours left and we is all a wee bit tiddly.

Happy New Year

Today I cooked my first ever Korma. We had left over turkey to use and I found a recipe on the British Turkey website for a Korma dish.

Ok, so it might not look so good as leftover but I’m really pleased with the outcome. Mild with a kick is the best description.

Might just have to try that again…

Well little turkey cooked to perfection, sprouts exquisite, roasts fantastic, stuffing fabulous, a feast fit for a king and my queen, Mrs Fogg.

Mrs Fogg dressed for dinner and I even slung on something a little smarter than shorts.

Now all we gotta do is rest the belly, finish the Krug Champoo and chill.

Another fantastic Christmas day.

Mr Fogg has just stuffed the turkey and is about to pop it in the oven. I’m sure it should be bigger though……

A 10lb turkey, roast potatoes, sprouts, chipolatas, carrots, stuffing and gravy, can’t wait. We’ll both be asleep later after that little lot.

Yeeee Haaaaaa it’s Christmas Day. I got up at 5am but left Mrs Foggy asleep until 6am.

So a wonderful morning and lots of prezzies, thank you to everyone.

So to warm the cockles here is us having a snog under our tree.

Right time to go and get the turkey ready.

Merry Christmas one and all, this was the scene from our bedroom window out across the neighbours and off across the fields. It’s fairly blooming cold with a bit of light snow on top of the 4 week old ice.

So today I have dropped the Mrs off to work and will collect her in a few hours, since she is finishing early (woo hoo). It’s fancy dress apparently, but I couldn’t persuade her to wear the Santa outfit, so instead she has taken the easy route with a pixie hat.

Well by 5am tomorrow morning we will have been up, had bucks fizz and opened all our prezzies.
