Last Day

All boo’ed out. Yesterday we drove from Key West to Sarasota and today across to Orlando for the flight stopping at a shooting range to have a go with a 9mm hand pistol each, looks like Mrs Fogg (aka QuickDraw McGraw) was the sure shot

Shooting Stuff

6.89 Mile Bridge

Bye Bye Key West, next and final stop is Sarasota, a mere 6.5 hours drive (350 miles). Today Kev has the wheel exiting Key West across 7 mile bridge (which is actually 6.89 miles, but that didn’t sound anywhere near grand enough).

Mieux Que le Sexe

Rounding off the day in this darkly seductive, dimly lit and secluded table restaurant, you would think you were in a gentleman’s club, rather than a very cleverly themed dessert restaurant where everything has a hint of the naughty with lip smacking double entendres (I couldn’t have done better myself).

Starting with the drinks; wine, beer, champagne or spirits renamed and served in glasses with hot melted chocolate around the rim, followed by mind blowing desserts.

Simply orgasmic (according to Mrs Fogg and Kevin).

You’re Havana Laugh

Welcome to the southern most tip of the continental US and only 90 miles from Cuba

Sorry Mr Smith, we tried to get your Mrs to let you know you could see us on the Key West Cam, but Kev was havin too much fun

And welcome to the Lighthouse family, we’re lifted to the top by 88 steps (although kev’s little legs were too short to make it down easily)

Lunch courtesy of a little restaurant on the gulf coast

Followed by a stretch by our pool, resplendent in a set of new bikinis

Next stop Better Than Sex (click the link to see what it is)

Key West Has Harley

Oh Yes they now have a Harley T-shirt store!

But the sunsets and fun is what it’s all about. Today is a Womble day, plus the bus and seeing mile marker zero, the southern most point of the continental US.

Yes a tiki hut on water

Key West – Feeding Time

A slow rise to a beautiful morning then off to cover the remaining drive to Key West and Mile Marker Zero, via food of course with some iguana, lobster and Tarpon feeding (young Kev didn’t realise she wasn’t supposed to be the meal)

Just Chillin

Such a wonderful and peaceful evening. Glass of Wine at 7pm and s’mores at 8, followed by a session of lounging around a very idyllic location
