Yup it’s a Saturday (hurrah), time for a sleep in past 5.30am right, err wrong.

We have had our trusty Halfords Apollo mountain bikes for over 10 years now. These beasts were forged from cast iron and could withstand a tank rolling over them, not exactly making them the lightest things in the world. So decision made, old bikes to the skip and in with something we can ride (my how times have changed, 24 speed with hydraulic disk brakes).

How do you collect said bikes without a bike rack? Trust Mrs Fogg, let’s walk the 9 miles along the canal then cycle back the 7 miles! Ok then starting at 6am on a rest day!
